Disappointed. Poor customer service, too much mayo and barely any meat on my sandwich. I've heard great things about JJ, my experience DID NOT live up to those.

JJ's is an okay place to get a quick lunch. I went here with the fan during the St. Patrick's Day parade yesterday. It was very busy but we were served in a decent amount of time. It's pretty loud inside, and there isn't a lot of seating.. I got a Beach Club. It's basically a turkey sandwich with an avocado spread. I almost thought they forgot the avocado, but it was hidden between the slices of cheese. Sneaky! There wasn't much avocado there. Disappointment! Nothing fancy from this sandwich chain. If you want basic, cheap food on the go, this place isn't awful.

Stuck at work, and need some food fast -- but not just any food. Good food. Delivered. Jimmy John's comes through in the clutch. 18 minutes from order to eating. oinkety.com/?p=1656

They made the sandwich literally in 15 seconds while I was ordering it and saying what I wanted it was already done and in my hands. Great service and great sandwich it was my first time here and I'm pretty impressed

Not going to lie, the staff is pretty rude. They act like uppity hipsters who can't be bothered with your questions or give good customer service. Sure, some of the staff can be super welcoming, and that's the general Jimmy John's experience I always look forward to, but not every time at the downtown location. They have an attitude and acted irritated that I even ordered (no one else in the store) and that I sat at a table further from them making the subs. So they just left them on the counter and said there are bags and napkins then disappeared in the back. The napkins and bags were on their side of the counter, not sure if a customer is to just reach over and grab one. This is one of the few bad experiences I've had, including them audibly tsk-ing when I asked if it was possible to replace my cheese with extra avocado. Sure not a big deal, not the end of the world. But I know that at other locations, they have put in the tiny effort to bag your subs and give them to you personally, as a courtesy and general customer service. At other locations, it feels more welcoming like they appreciate your patronage and don't feel annoyed for being there. I continue going here because it's close but I avoid it more and more with each bad experience. For now, I try and opt for delivery since they are nicer because let's be honest, they want you to tip them. Subs are the same and delicious though.

I got their #1 Pepe sub...very disappointed. Sub was dried and lacked flavor. Also, I asked for hot peppers and was told that they couldn't give me or sell me a side of them. Who does that? Get with the industry. Too much competition for dumb policies.

So fast. So healthy! I love their lettuce wraps! It is as good as anything I'd make at home but better because they bring it to me!! I'm a big fan. Very friendly delivery people!

My friend's re-enactment of our experience here last night best sums this place up: Friend steps up to order: "Yes, I'll have a-" Sandwich maker: "Here's your sub, Sir, have a nice night." This place is insanely fast. We both had subs in hand before we'd even finished paying. It was like the people making the subs read our minds and knew what we wanted before we did. This is a typical Jimmy John's. Same quality and deliciousness as any of their other locations I've been to. This downtown location stays open late, which is wonderful when you've been out drinking and need a 'fourth meal' to close out the night.

As fast as they advertise and the subs are great. Perfect option for quick delivery when at work in the downtown area and you don't want to deal with parking. BLT on French.

pretty good subs! Really like the bread, one time ordered subs and mine was wrong, went online and explained what happened and corporate sent me a gift card and the mgr called me from the store and gave me a free lunch for a later date, I have to say that sure made up for the error, they're super fast as well

Tried placing an order less than a 1 mi radius from store. It was three blocks outside their delivery range of what they normally set. Would not accommodate delivery and were not nice about it at all! Spoke with manager Alissa.

I ordered my sandwich online because I was at work. Received my order from a nice young man, Jonathan, in less than 10 minutes. Enjoyed my sandwich, they saved me from getting to hungry while I worked. Very fast and convenient option. I highly recommend Jimmy Johns!!!

It's Jimmy John's it's always fast, simple, and the best damn sandwich's I've ever had. No matter where in the US, the delicious taste is consistent. Jimmy John's is so good and so distinct that I get Jimmy John cravings! I'm a very picky eater and hard to please and it's a big thing when I have been 100% satisfied every time I eat at Jimmy John's!! As far as this location my only complaint is lack of parking but that's expected being a downtown location, catering more to office traffic then vehicular sort. Wish they would open up a location closer to the post though!

I went in at 11pm on a Friday night after flying in. The guy at the counter was super nice and I'm still not sure how this happened exactly, but he handed me my sandwich in what seemed like 10 seconds after I finished ordering. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of mind tricks they played on me, but as I walked out in a daze holding my sandwich - I looked at the sticker that was on it "Freaky Fast Subs" and was further amazed. My #11 country club was great. I'm a big snob of sandwich bread and this passed my test. I still have no clue how they make the sandwiches so fast.

Sandwiches are delicious and prepared quickly. But the experience is made less pleasant by the grumpy employees and delivery people who never bring their own pen...

Jimmy John's is not a mystery. Its a cut above the subway experience (I would say a big cut above) and its crazy fast. This is the biggest reason I go. I can get in and out in less than 10 minutes even on the heaviest day and get a sub that makes me happy. (#9, Mayo on the side). The pluses - delivery and online ordering. Only thing I have found to complain about is mayo. They will give you a heart-stopping, artery clogging amount on your sandwich if you don't ask them to hold it. I have asked for light and it still was swimming in it. They are happy to give you packs of mayo to apply yourself , so all is good My trip today clocked in at less than 2 minutes. That's insane.

I love Jimmy John's, as you can see in my other review of their Garden of the Gods location. But today's visit to the downtown store left my stomach full but also slightly disgruntled. I was in at 1110am, just beating the crazy lunch rush from Palmer Highschool. There were about 8 people ahead of me but the wait was not long at all. As I was waiting the bicycle delivery guy yelled from the dining area to another employee named "Billy" who was working at the sandwich prep area. He then proceeded to dig some what appeared to be car keys from his pocket and throw them to "Billy", over the ingredients. "Billy" catches them with a gloved hand, puts them away, then goes back to making food without ever changing his gloves. He was handling the bread and ingredients like cucumbers and lettuce. He also had a tendency to wipe his gloved hands on his apron instead of switching to fresh ones. While I know it is probably pretty difficult to get sick from the above practices, it still made me a little ticked. JJ's is a great place and doesn't need careless health violations like this.

Nothing necessarily "wrong" with the place, but I'm not much of a fan. I've never heard of a place that puts alfalfa sprouts in a turkey sandwich. that was a shocker. (A friend ordered for me. I never would have thought to say "I'll take the turkey--hold the sprouts"). They're basically Subway for foodies. That's it. Nothing special. I go here when I'm hungry, but not because I love the food. It's ok.
